Author Bio
Caroline Birkett trained as a textile designer and after gaining a postgraduate diploma spent several years designing luxury knitwear collections. A love of books led her to turn her talents to designing and writing craft projects, contributing to a wide variety of books and magazines. She has also designed new products with a large ribbon manufacturer. Her first book was on embroidery, giving a contemporary twist to cross stitch. Now she has brought her flair for combining colours, patterns and textures to the medium of paper.
