Rosemary Moon's Aga Cookbook

Rosemary Moon's Aga Cookbook

by RosemaryMoon (Author)

Synopsis

Ideas for after-work suppers. No-fuss family meals. Creative dishes full of exciting flavours, making use of exotic and ethnic ingredients. Recipes for easy entertaining. A few challenging ideas, employing new techniques or cooking methods, for days when time isn't limited. Recipes which can be started in the morning and finished quickly at night. Bright and interesting dishes for vegetarians. Continental breads and weekend bakes. All these dishes can be cooked with an Aga! This traditional range-style cooker adapts itself to the demands of the modern cook and is equally at home in a city apartment, a seaside house or tucked away in a rural dwelling buried deep in the country. All Aga and Rayburn owners appreciate the constant companionship of their range, but they don't all use it for resuscitating dying lambs or cooking hearty casseroles and puddings! In Rosemary Moon's Aga Cookbook the author invites us to share her excitement as she applies her modern, creative style of family cookery to the Aga, adapting new techniques in her characteristically down-to-earth way to fit her dream cooker. She does much to dispel the myth of the Aga as just an object of predictable reliability, and recasts it as one of creative versatility.
