by TonydeSaulles (Author)

Synopsis

Jake's birthday is coming and he's desperate for a dog that he can pet and take for walks, but ever since he said he 'quite liked' dinosaurs, every present he gets is always to do with them - he's even got dinosaur underpants! So when he receives a life-size model of a dinosaur egg as his present, he's naturally disappointed. Until, that is, the egg hatches and out pops something even better than a puppy.

Book Overview: The series launched well and picked up excellent review coverage. A welcome addition to the library - BFK; Excellent series - The Scotsman. Brick-A-Breck was a WBD recommended read in 2005, which helped lift the profile of the series. Integrated text and illustrations in full colour make Chameleons very appealing and accessible. Speech bubbles help reluctant readers. Dinosaurs are a perennially popular subject appealing to both boys and girls.
