  Paper clay is a new development in the ceramics field. It is easy to use, extremely strong in the unfired state, easy to repair at nearly any stage of the forming process and the final glazed and fired result can be indistinguishable from that of conventional clay. Yet the result is extremely light. This is particularly useful when doing wall installations and delicate sculptural forms.
