  This book assists pupils preparing for GCSE to develop the skills of written communication through letters, notes and postcards, and provides practice in reading comprehension of authentic material. Pupils are taken through simple stages of writing with the help of sentence-building exercises, and each chapter is divided into two parts, corresponding to the basic and higher levels of the examination.
