Author Bio
Jonathan Keates was born in Paris and educated at Bryanston and Magdalen College, Oxford. He now teaches at the City of London School. A Fellow of the Royal Society of literature and a previous Booker Prize Judge, he is the author of a novel, The Stranger's Gallery, a prize-winning collection of short stories, Allegro Positions, and a travel book, Italian Journeys, as well as acclaimed biographies of Handel and Stendhal.
