JOYCE RUSSELL has thirty years of practical experience of fruit and vegetable growing, while feeding a family from the garden. She writes each month for Kitchen Garden Magazine, as well as regular contributions to other magazines and newspapers. She wrote for Organic Gardening magazine for ten years. BEN RUSSELL is a versatile professional photographer, who has had over 6,000 photographs published. He shoots entirely with Olympus equipment, and has been chosen as an Olympus 'Visionary'. Ben lives on an organic smallholding in the west Cork mountains with his wife, garden writer Joyce Russell, and a dog, a cat, and a flock of hens.
