  The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a showcase for some of the finest limestone scenery in Europe. Covering 683 square miles, it can be divided naturally into a number of areas, each with its own character. Perhaps the most famous of these is the area widely known as the Three Peaks, much of which is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
