Media Reviews
Spend a morning with Tim Rawle's splendid new book celebrating the beauty and buildings of Cambridge and I guarantee you'll end up planning a trip back ... This is, quite simply, the best introduction to Cambridge ever published Cam It takes a book such as this to remind us that there are places in Britain to rival any city in the world for architectural splendour. Author Bio
Tim Rawle read Architecture at Downing College, Cambridge, after which he was awarded the Caldicott Scholarship for postgraduate study at the Architectural Association. After two years working as an assistant architect he left architectural practice to work as a graphic designer, photographer and author. His first book, Cambridge Architecture, published in 1985, is the most comprehensive pictorial survey of the city ever undertaken, accompanied by an equally informative text. In 1991 he set up the Cambridge Portfolio, which specializes in publications unique to this city.
