Dead in the Water

Dead in the Water

by VeronycaBates (Author)

Synopsis

Can we ever escape the misdeeds of our past? Eliza Hobbis thinks she can but unfortunately the past catches up with her in the most deadly way possible. When Eliza's body is fished out of Cotton Park gravel pits, the police think that they have a suicide on their hands, but it quickly becomes apparent Eliza was murdered. Was she a woman with something to hide? If so, she appears to have hidden it very well for the police have no suspects and no obvious motive to assist them in their search for her killer. Then another body is found in the same gravel pits, and the police don't know if they are looking for one killer or two. DI Cobb has never had a more baffling case to solve.
