For many years Doc Spengler has been hunting down his father's killer. Now the trail leads him further west into Bent's Crossing, Colorado, where he is taken on as house gambler by Whispering Williams, the owner of the Silver Bullet saloon. By chance, Doc stumbles across the murderer only to find that he is a highly respected citizen and the father of the girl to whom Doc has taken more than a passing fancy. His final pursuit and confrontation with the killer make for a breathless and exciting tale of the old west.
