An Accidental Affair

An Accidental Affair

by NoraNaish (Author)

Synopsis

Three single people who share a common concern about the state of the environment have created communal bliss in the gardens of their otherwise ordinary suburban terrace. Pensioner and aspiring philosopher Barney, Mrs Crinkham, an ex-actress who dabbles in antiques, and Letty, who is devoted to her soldier son, all live in harmony among the compost and vegetable patch. This peaceful existence is shattered by Ben, church organist and Elgar fan, who doesn't let a sprained ankle, wife and two children prevent him from pursuing Letty. Much to the dismay of everyone, it begins to look as though Letty may even return his affections. But all is not over for the Alexandra Row commune. Will fate - in the form of Mrs Crinkham, Ben's wife Celia, some very engaging children and a 'Bouncing Betty' in Angola - soon conspire to lend a hand?
