Author Bio
An Ayrshire man, Dane Love lives in the countryside near Cumnock with his wife and two children and works as a schoolteacher at Irvine Royal Academy. He enjoys travelling around Scotland doing research and has written many books on Scottish subjects, including Covenanters and castles, as well as local histories of various Ayrshire towns and villages. With an interesting genealogy, he has traced his ancestry back to one Robin Love, his six times great grandfather, who fought for Bonnie Prince Charlie at the battles of Prestonpans and Culloden. His books include Scottish Kirkyards, Scottish Ghosts, The Auld Inns of Scotland and Tales of the Clan Chiefs, all published by Robert Hale.
