Synopsis

Sent away to her grandparents in Spic-and-Span Town to avoid catching a virulent virus that turned people blue, Pearl has only the help of her little friends Tumbletash, Professor Kaspar and Ping and Pong to ensure she completes the tasks set her by the good witch, Zazuela. Jealous of their power, Izzi Berton has stolen all the magic from every witch and wizard attending an International Conference Izzi had hoodwinked them into attending, but he could not prevent two magic buttons falling from Witch Fortebello's broomstick as he made good his escape. Author Bio
Nouneh Sarkissian was born in 1954 in Yerevan, Armenia. After graduating from the Department of Romano-Germanic languages at the State University of Yerevan, she worked for the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Armenia. In 1991, she moved to London with her husband and two sons. She has an MA in the History of Art from Goldsmiths College (1992-93). She has written articles on art and culture, as well as stories for children since her early university years. Her books have become highly popular in Armenia and Russia, and have proved good sellers with parents whose children delight in her easy style and the subtle manner in which she passes on educational material aimed at children aged three upwards.
