Author Bio
Alison Love was born in Warwickshire and grew up near Stratford-upon-Avon. Her first novel, Mallingford, published in the UK and Germany, was described in The Times as 'the sort of book that reminds one why people still like reading novels', while her second, Serafina, is set in thirteenth-century Amalfi, in a world that features astrology, alchemy and the art of paper making. Her short stories have appeared in several magazines as well as in two anthologies of London stories, and in 2013 her story 'Sophie Stops the Clock' was shortlisted for the Bristol Short Story Prize. Alison has literature degrees from the University of York and King's College London, and she has worked in the theatre, television and public relations. She now lives in Wimbledon.
