Some of Michael Hague's earliest childhood drawings were of unicorns adorned with magnificent horns. I lived in daydreams where anything was possible and unicorns were real. It is wonderful for me to revisit these themes and discover that unicorns still exist and will always be as real as my imagination. Michael Hague was born in Los Angeles and graduated with honors from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is most well known for illustrating such children's classics as Peter Pan, The Secret Garden, The Velveteen Rabbit, and The Wizard of Oz. He and his wife, Kathleen, live with their three children in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
