Sams Teach Yourself Macromedia Dreamweaver MX in 24 Hours (Sams Teach Yourself in 24 Hours)

by Betsy Bruce (Author)

Synopsis

Sams Teach Yourself Macromedia Dreamweaver X in 24 Hours is written for Web developers and designers who are looking for a book to quickly and easily get up to speed with Dreamweaver. The reader most likely has some experience creating Web pages with other WYSIWYG tools or in raw HTML, and has made an informed decision to purchase and use Dreamweaver to streamline their Web site development while adding a new level of creativity and function to their pages. The book does not dwell on elementary Web page authoring techniques, but focuses more on intermediate-level Web development topics, such as how to quickly build a dynamic Web site, how to employ client-side image maps and interactive forms on a site, how to set up frames with Dreamweaver's click-and-drag functionality, and how to add interactivity to HTML pages with CGI scripts, JavaScript, applets, and controls.
