Author Bio
Jurgen Moltmann is Professor Emeritus of Theology at the University of Tubingen in Germany, and one of the most prominent and revered scholars in contemporary Christian theology. From 1963 to 1983, he was a member of the Faith and Order Committee of the World Council of Churches. Elisabeth Moltmann-Wendel is a theologian, journalist, and author. Inspired by American feminist theology, she became a founder of feminist theology in Germany and was active in researching and lecturing in this new field of theology. Her publications translated into English include Liberty, Equality, Sisterhood: The Women around Jesus; A Land Flowing with Milk and Honey; I Am My Body; and Rediscovering Friendship.
