Media Reviews
. ..a very well written text that fills an important gap in the current market... had this book been available while I was working towards the MRCP, I would have adopted it as a text.

Dr K Raza, Rheumatology Specialist Registrar, The City Hospital, Birmingham

. ..the book has good authoritative style and achieves the authors' aims of maintaining clarity through minimal scientific debate.

Ben Mills, University of Glasgow

It is ideal as a revision aid for the main physiological principles and ideas Queen's Medical Magazine - Birmingham Medical School magazine

Published Reviews of the 1st Edition

. the material in The Biology of Disease is handled well. One of the best chapters is also one of their first, Principles of Epidemiology. Without using much or very complicated math, the basic principles of epidemiology are briefly and clearly explained.

.The Biology of Disease has a bonus that complements the 23 chapters of material that are the first part of the book; a selection of 34 excellent case studies.
