Kyra Karmiloff, MsC, a research psychologist, has been the main editor and writer for Pampers.com parenting website. Dr Annette Karmiloff-Smith PhD is a professorial research fellow at the Developmental Neurocognition Lab at Birkbeck, University of London. Together they have created a number of works on infant development. Dr Annette Karmiloff-Smith PhD, is Professor of Psychology at University College, London. She is Senior Research Scientist at the Medical Research Council's Cognitive Development Unit in London, researching various aspects of infant and child development. She has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes, and acted as scientific consultant to the award-winning television series Baby It's You, for which, in collaboration with her daughter, Kyra Karmiloff, she wrote the accompanying best selling book. Other publications include A Functional Approach to Child Language (CUP), Beyond Modularity: A Developmental Perspective on Cognitive Science (MIT Press)
