The Barking Blondes

The Barking Blondes

by Anna Webb (Author), Jo Good (Author)

Synopsis

When Jo saw Anna feeding Molly meatballs from her bra, she knew that here was a woman after her own heart. What she couldn't know was that this was the start of a friendship that would take them both on an incredible and bizarre journey. From nearly drowning in swimming pools during filming to tearing around Paris in search of Rin Tin Tin's grave, the more the dog world opened up to them, the more convinced they became, like Bardot and Mae West before them, that man is not necessarily a girl's best friend. This is a hilarious, touching tale of how two women's lives were transformed by their pets.

Author Bio
Jo Good and Anna Webb are the Barking Blondes - radio and TV broadcasters, journalists and dog obsessives. They co-present the world's only radio show dedicated to dogs - BBC Radio London's 'Barking Hour'. This weekly slot has become the definitive voice of dogs on the airwaves, giving an insight into the weird and wonderful world of pooches and their owners, from Lhasa Apso-loving lesbians to furry fashionistas, as well as attracting a vast array of celebrities eager to talk dog, including Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams. Jo and Anna also appear in Sky 1's 'A Different Breed' - an 8-part dogumentary about pampered pooches and their owners. Jo also works as an actress and is best known for her role as Carol Sands in ITV soap 'Crossroads'. Anna is a canine expert who runs a PR company exclusively for dogs. The Blondes take their four-legged friends Molly and Matilda everywhere they go, and every member of the pack is breathlessly energetic, fun and...barking mad.
