Author Bio
John Dawes is an internationally-renowned authority on fish, aquaria and outdoor fishkeeping. A former lecturer at the University of Bath, he has been a freelance author, editor and aquatic consultant since 1983 (with over 2,500 of his articles being published) and has been involved with and judged several aquatic shows around the world. John has been Editor/Co-ordinator for Ornamental Fish International since 1993, has acted as editor and consultant for several other publications and has written numerous books on aquaria, water gardening and fish species.
