Dr Dorothy Einon is a lecturer in psychology at University College, London, with a special interest in child development. She has researched the functions of play at the Psychiatric Institute in New York and studied the psychology of learning at Cambridge (UK). She has taught in educational centres around the world and worked as an advisor for a leading toy company. Dr Einon is the author of a number of best-selling books on early years play, and appears regularly on television and radio.
