Media Reviews
Steven Bradley gives a clear, concise overview of plant propagation in all its forms. From simple division and seed sowing to the more complex grafting and air-layering, he details every procedure, accompanied by diagrams and photographs to ensure complete understanding. All plants reproduce themselves naturally - setting seed, suckering, layering - as every gardener knows, especially in respect of weeds! But the intervention of the gardener ensures control and enables them to replicate their favourite plants either for themselves or friends. And what better way to encourage children into the garden than by giving them some sunflower and marigold seeds; the wonderment of germination never leaving them as nature takes over. A valuable reference for all horticultural bookshelf. - Lucy Watson
