  A collection of activities designed to help teachers to develop children's reading and writing skills in English at Key Stages 1 and 2, based on children's literature. Although the activities are based on story books on the recommended SAT' reading list, reference to these books will only be made in the teachers' notes, thus enabling the activities to be used whether or not the child has read the book.
