The White Path

The White Path

by VivianeMoore (Author)

Synopsis

Chevalier Galeran finds himself closely implicated in one of his own murder investigations in Viviane Moore's latest atmospheric mediaeval mystery. It is Easter 1146, and the cathedral bells in Le Puy ring in the Paschal Mass as thousands of pilgrims prepare to make the arduous journey to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostela in Northern Spain. But the humble, godly people travelling through the harsh landscapes of the Pyrenees leave in their wake a series of mutilated bodies. Galeran joins a group of pilgrims following the 'white path' to Compostela, and he shares in their hardships and fears as he tries to unravel the mystery of these horrific murders. Could it be that one of his fellow-travellers is connected with the brutal crimes? And is his own brother, Ronan, in great danger?
