Simon Veness was the first writer published in the Brit Guide travel book series, by UK publishers Foulsham. Simon writes for: The Sun, Mail on Sunday, Daily Express, The Telegraph and The Independent. He has featured on BBC TV's Holiday programme and Fox 35 TV in Orlando. Simon also writes the 'View From America' column for SkySports.com. As final proof of the perfect compatibility of travel and sport, Simon's formative years were spent in Southern Africa, where his family lived for seven years. Susan Veness, his co-writer is an international travel writer, with encyclopedic knowledge of all things Mouse. Her eye for detail and her Disney savvy led her to becoming a contributor to a major (unofficial) Disney discussion forum, which she then parlayed into her job with the Brit Guide travel series as principal research assistant on their Orlando title.
