Synopsis

Driving home from a party with his girlfriend and brother, all of them drunk and high on stolen pills, Billy Blackmore accidentally hits someone in the night. Author Bio
Doug Johnstone is the author of three novels, most recently Smokeheads (2011), described in The Times as 'a hugely atmospheric thriller soaked in the spirit of life'. Writer in residence at the University of Strathclyde, he is also a freelance journalist, a songwriter and musician, and has a PhD in nuclear physics. He lives in Edinburgh.
