ROBERT RIGBY is the co-writer of BOY SOLDIER with Andy McNab. A professional screenwriter whose work includes scripts for Byker Grove, he has also run literacy, drama and writing projects, doing outreach work in Education Action Zone schools and writing and staging drama for and with young people. He is particularly interested in writing that appeals to reluctant boy readers. Most importantly, he is also a very keen football fan!
