Media Reviews
I always have enjoyed reading Siegel's texts. I feel that they are at just the right level for the majority of students to fully comprehend. Siegel's liberal use of examples and quotes brings the materials to life, and is not boring or monotonous.
The tables and figures are outstanding. The figures provide an excellent visual aide to assist in understanding a complex theory. Many students find the study of criminological theory difficult, and the figures are particularly helpful to students who are more visual in their learning.
Siegel's style of writing is very good. He introduces the writer to the focussed material with citing of court cases that are most recent concerning the topic at hand.
