  This pupils' core text book is designed to be used in Key Stage 3 from Year 7. While some children will have no further use for it after Year 7, it is expected that a substantial number will use it in Years 7, 8 and 9. Containing a number of themes of work which can be carried out in the order decided by the teacher, it covers craft, design and technology (CDT), home economics, business studies and art and design, thus fulfilling the requirements for the national curriculum in design and technology.
