Author Bio
David Hussey has had many years of experience in corporate planning, as a practitioner in industry and as a consultant, including industrial development work in a developing country and as managing director of the European operations of a US owned consultancy. He now runs his own consulting business. He is the author of several books on the subject of strategic management, including Corporate Planning: Theory and Practice (Pergamon 1974), which won the John Player management author of the year award. He was one of the founders of the Society for Strategic Planning and has been associated with the official journal of the society, Long Range Planning, since its foundation. He is a member of the editorial board of Strategic Directions, director of the Japanese Society of Strategic Management and is editor of the Journal of Strategic Change.
