Media Reviews
This book's exceptional clarity earned it the highest honor in the Communications category. It is organized and written to appeal specifically to landscape architects who have been trained in traditional representation methods on the drafting table but who would like to work effectively in digital media. The jury clearly saw the book's value. It's the first drawings book I've seen that is contemporary and clear , one juror said. ( Landscape Architecture Magazine, September 2012) Digital Drawing is a sophisticated digital media book focused primarily on creating photomontage images for site design. This book, aims to be a software neutral and has a strong, theory-based designer's point of view. This is the first landscape architecture book available as an eBook, so the authors thoroughly embrace modern communication tools while still holding to the tried-and-true landscape architecture values of high-quality graphic representation.
