helen chen is the founder of Helen's Asian Kitchen (helensasiankitchen.com), a widely distributed Asian cookware line, and the author of Helen Chen's Chinese Home Cooking, Peking Cuisine, and Easy Chinese Stir-Fries. Her mother, Joyce Chen, was a pioneering Chinese restaurateur and entrepreneur, and Helen served as the CEO of her mother's company before launching her own business. Helen travels regularly to China working on new products and recipes and visiting her large extended family in Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, and Hangzhou. Understanding both Western and Eastern cuisine, Helen is adept at making nutritious, economical, healthy Asian dishes easy for Americans to prepare without sacrificing authenticity.
