One Deadly Sin

One Deadly Sin

by Annie Solomon (Author)

Synopsis

Edie Swann returns to her childhood hometown to exact vengeance on the people who hounded her father to death years ago. Secretly, she delivers prominent townspeople a miniature black angel--a replica of the infamous one that guards her father's grave. But one by one, the recipients start dying mysteriously. Is she murdering them? Marking them for death? Or has the black angel truly come to aid her quest for revenge? When County Sheriff, Holt Drennen, discovers Edie's connection to the black angels, the town assumes he's found his perpetrator. Holt's not so certain. But does he believe in her innocence because the evidence is circumstantial or because of his growing feelings for her? And if Edie didn't commit the murders, who did? As Holt rushes to answer that question, the town's noose tightens around Edie. Meanwhile, a longtime resident is plotting to make sure the past stays buried, no matter who is buried with it. And a clever maniac wants to make sure that someone is Edie.
