The activities in Fantasy Stories (9-11 yrs) enable children to: identify generic features of fantasy stories; explore and compare features of fantasy stories by looking at examples in texts, TV, films; create own version of fantasy features and experiment with them; and, produce an extended fantasy story which incorporates several of the identified feature.
