Each title has an introductory spread explaining what a habitat is and that many different habitats may be found with the UK. The following spreads look at the specifics of the habitat - plants, animals, insects, birds. They investigate what happens to these during changing seasons and why each is suited to its habitat. The books also cover environmental care, looking at the threats to each habitat type and what is being done to protect them. There is also a page showing an example food chain, to illustrate how plants and animals interact within their habitats.
