Since the second edition was published, there have been a large number of caselaw developments, particularly in the area of remedies, discretion and natural justice. Other more general changes in the pattern of administrative organizations include the changes in the nature of the Civil Service and the creation of new executive agencies. Quasi-public bodies have been farmed into companies which will have an impact on the type of remedies available against them. In this edition, a new chapter on European Community Law is included, covering its relevance for domestic administrative law, as well as the includsion of specific aspects of EC law at particular points in the book.
