Author Bio
Born 1976, in Tottenham, North London. On Blindness was first written as one of the lunchtime readin gs in Wild Lunch VI (produced by Paines Plough and Graeae in May 2002 at the Young Vic) and Glyn was subsequently commissioned to write the full version. He is currently Paines Plough's Associate Play wright, a post supported by Arts Council England. On Blindness is his first professional stage produ ction. Other recent theatre writing includes Nebuchadnezzar, Coffee and Appalachia (Latchmere Theatr e and BAC) and a new version of Sophocles' Antigone in development, Gone, produced at LAMDA. He curr ently teaches part-time at Goldsmiths College, University of London and Central School of Speech and Drama, and has led writers workshops as far afield as the Teatr Rozmaitosci, Warsaw.
