  Tuberculosis is currently increasing in both the developed and developing world. It is often related to HIV prevalence, and the increasing problem of multi-drug resistant disease is becoming evident. Ease of travel and continuing high rates of tuberculosis in the developed world has made tuberculosis the potential problem of all health care workers.
