  The revival of interest in Gestalt therapy has highlighted the need for a source book which considers theory, practice and research. This work includes an unpublished transcript by Fritz Perls who originated the therapy. Gestalt therapy enables people to deal with a range of emotions that are obstacles to growth and development. This approach to therapy can enable people to let go of anger, grief, resentment, depression and fear and, in so doing, resolve problems such as indecision and unsatisfactory personal relationships. The therapy uses dreams and fantasies experimentally in a group setting.
