Author Bio
Pauline Stewart was born in Hackney, London in 1962, and her parents are Jamaican. She is a freelance writer, working on a huge variety of projects: fiction, theatre, short stories, poetry, and journalism, and she also runs poetry and theatre workshops. Alex Ayliffe studied at Harrow Art college and since graduating she has illustrated over 30 children's books. She specialises in collage and is inspired by colour and faces.
