Blood and Ashes

Blood and Ashes

by Matt Hilton (Author)

Synopsis

Brook Reynolds died in a car crash. Tragic accident, the police say. But her father Don Hoffman knows otherwise. And he wants Joe Hunter to find the men responsible. Joe is not convinced - until he is attacked by two troublemakers, and Don's other daughter is also threatened. Looks like more than coincidence. And sure enough, the entire family is soon under siege with only Joe to protect them. The ensuing blood bath is the beginning of a trail of death that leads right to the heart of a racist conspiracy. White supremacists want to hold the government to ransom; and they have got hold of a dirty bomb to add weight to their case. Joe is on countdown: can he stop the plotters before they reduce the free world to ashes?

Media Reviews
'Explosive and deadly ... the prolific penman strikes gold again.' -- crimesquad 'A thrill-a-thon book that packs in more action than all three hit Bourne films rolled into one. This is Hilton's fifth Hunter adventure and he's motoring so fast he's coming up on the tail of Lee Child and stellar creation Jack Reacher... It's a wham, bam, bone-crunching treat!' -- Alex Gordon, Peterborough Evening Telegraph 'Matt Hilton has become known for his super-charged thrillers, and his latest Joe Hunter novel, BLOOD AND ASHES, is no exception. A nigh-on-constant hail of bullets, car chases and bone-crunching violence, the action starts on the first page and never really lets up ... It's exhilarating, completely breathless and wildly enjoyable entertainment that flies off the page ... Another brutally fast and brutally addictive novel from Matt Hilton. Ne'er-do-wells beware, Joe Hunter is coming for you!' -- crimeandpublishingcom 'BLOOD AND ASHES is a welcome addition to the series. Hilton has lost none of his flair for writing action scenes, which for me are one of the main attractions of the books. I don't think his fans will find this a disappointment. I certainly didn't.' -- reviewingtheevidence Praise for CUT AND RUN: 'Matt Hilton delivers a thrill a minute. Awesome!' -- Chris Ryan
