Media Reviews
It may be sentimental, but it's also a winner. -- The Sunday Times The tender side of the maile gets a nocturnal airing... Bruce Whatley makes (the bilbies) huggable, slightly whimsical creatures... The subtle fun of Whatley's illustrations counters the syrupy taste of Nette Hilton's text... -- Books for Keeps This is a simple, magical story... the star's response is beautiful, innocent and simple, but poignantly reminding us that we all yearn to be special, and remembered. -- Carousel ...an affecitonate and endearing picture book about friendship. -- Carmarthen Journal charming -- The School Librarian
