Synopsis

Colin Hitchin's got problems. He's too short, he's got the highest IQ in his year and he's psychic. He sees things before they happen. He sees dead people too. No one believes him, his mum's too busy with her boyfriends, and his best friend Polly just humours him. It all started a couple of years back, before his dad died. That's when Colin got sent to Dr Juvanji who gave him drugs to calm him down ...Then his Uncle Jimmy turns up on the doorstep. Something or someone is trying to suck the life out of them ...and with Jimmy's help, Colin is the one to stop it happening. On top of everything else, he's got to be a superhero, too.

Andrew Clover is a stand up comedian, a Radio Four journalist (he hosts The Storyman on that station) and an actor. He recenty starred as the sinister clown in series 1 in BBC1's Ashes to Ashes. He has been nominated for the Perrier Award and as well as writing novels, works still as a comic, a broadcaster and a journalist. He pens the very popular Dad Rules column in The Sunday Times, which is now available as a book, published by Penguin. His imagination and drive and ability to self-promote know no bounds. Dirty Angels is his first, fabulous novel.
