Synopsis

Magenta Orange is our thirteen-year-old heroine. But wherever she goes, calamity seems to dog her every footstep. Her neighbour, Daniel, tries hard to dissuade her from some of her more impulsive actions - but, inevitably, ends up inveigled into her schemes, with hilarious results. Magenta's in trouble with Daniel again - this time, for snogging the school new-boy Chad Albright on a charity Blind Date. As if this wasn't bad enough, she's been picked to go on the school outward-bound camp. It's not really her cup of tea - mix Magenta with any physical activities, and here comes disaster ...

Author Bio
Echo Freer was born and brought up in Yorkshire. After training to be a teacher, she moved to London, where she taught Special Needs in one of London's social priority areas. When her son was diagnosed as severely dyslexic, she completed a specialist training course to teach and diagnose specific learning difficulties. She now assesses and teaches under-achieving children. She lives in London.
