Lizzie Longbody is a one-year old dachshund, who lives with her family - Man (who thinks he's the leader of the pack, but is not), Boss (mother - when she speaks, everyone obeys), Boy and Girl plus Perfidia, a cat with attitude with whom Lizzie has an ongoing feud. Lizzie - being somewhat short in the leg - views the world from a low angle and finds it a strange and bewildering place, but full of fun. On the whole, she's glad she's a dog.
