Author Bio
Valerie-Anne Baglietto was born in Gibraltar in 1971. Her grandfather and great-grandfather were both writers, so Valerie-Anne keeps the tradition in the family and writes under her maiden name. Although she always wanted to be a novelist, she worked in London as a graphic designer for a couple of years while scribbling fiction in her spare time. To her delight, in 2000 she won the Romantic Novelists' Association New Writers' Award. However, when she realised that she would have to make a speech, her delight wavered momentarily. She lives in Essex with her husband, but no cats, because unfortunately he's allergic to them. Valerie-Anne hopes that he won't develop a sudden allergy to dirty nappies, as that would be far too convenient
