Synopsis

Author Bio
Joan O'Neill began her writing career in 1987 with short stories and serials. Her first novel, Daisy Chain War, published in 1990, won the Reading Association of Ireland Special Merit Award and was short-listed for the Bisto Award. Acclaimed by the Irish Times as Ireland's first teenage novel, it was a bestseller. Two sequels followed, Bread and Sugar and Daisy Chain Wedding, and Promised, a love story. Since then she has written Leaving Home, Turn of the Tide, A House Full of Women and Something Borrowed, Something Blue all available as Coronet paperbacks. She lives in County Wicklow with her family.
