Author Bio
Joan O'Neill began her writing career in 1987 with short stories and serials. Her first novel, Daisy Chain War, published in 1990, won the Reading Association of Ireland Special Merit Award and was short-listed for the Bisto Award: it is regarded as one of the foremost Irish novels for teenagers.
